Anise

Anise plant is a herb with a height of about half a meter, with a high slatted leg and long branches carry serrated round in shape papers, and the end of its branches carry a small floweriest with a compressed small white head and oval shaped, that turn after maturity to small brown fruit. This plant lives only for one year.

Anise origin is ancient Egypt, where archaeologists found the fruits of anise in the tombs of the Eastern Desert of the city of Thebes. In addition, Anise has been stated in the ancient Egyptian manuscripts within several medical prescriptions.

Anise is used as Tranquilizer, and in calming colic and cough, it is also good for digestion and diuretic. In addition, anise is useful for the birth process and it increases the breast milk for lactation.
